Nova Verta: Prep Stations

Nova Verta’s Prep Stations can be thought of as an extension of your spray booth, adding an extra layer of efficiency to your body shop. Nova Verta Prep Stations also offer many of the same benefits enjoyed with the Nova Verta Spray Booth.

Like the Nova Verta Spray Booth, the prep stations are outfitted with a post filtration system, in fact, the Nova Verta Prep Station is the only prep station outfitted with a post filtration system. This post filtration system provides additional environmental protections by filtering exhaust twice before releasing it into the atmosphere.

The Nova Verta Prep Station also operates with a variable frequency drive to ensure maximum energy efficiency. The exhaust fan is controlled by a variable frequency drive, providing a “soft start” to the exhaust fan motor.

Unlike the Nova Verta Spray Booth, where the variable frequency drives are controlled by an internal computer, the technician has complete control over the exhaust fan variable frequency drive, allowing the technician to adjust the air flow speed as needed.

Nova Verta’s Prep Stations also provide additional efficiencies within the body shop by allowing vehicles and parts to be sanded and primed prior to entering the spray booth. Smaller projects can also be top-coated in the prep station – provided the prep station is properly permitted – freeing the spray booth for larger projects.

Bonus: The Nova Verta Prep Station can be a designated “Aluminum Area” for body shops needing to eliminate the risk of metal/aluminum cross contamination.
