When deciding which spray booth is right for your body shop, one of the main considerations is most likely energy efficiency. Nova Verta and Construction 1, RFC understand and have the utmost appreciation for this concern.
Nova Verta eliminates energy inefficiencies by outfitting its spray booths with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), which promote energy cost savings in two main ways. First, Variable Frequency Drives control the spray booth cabin pressure to ensure that the spray booth is drawing only as much energy as is required.
Many other spray booth manufacturers not only do not utilize Variable Frequency Drives, but also outfit their spray booths with an unnecessarily high horse power rating. Both of which raise concerns regarding their design and technological advancements.
The second way Variable Frequency Drives assist in reducing energy costs is by allowing the spray booth a “soft start.” Nova Verta’s soft start allows the spray booth motor to start at a low rate and gradually increase, which is a far more efficient electrical system than those used by many competitors.
Bonus: In addition to energy efficiency, Nova Verta’s Variable Frequency Drives minimize air turbulence, promote cleaner paintwork, and properly balance air flow units, which ensures that cabin doors never blow open!
