Construction 1, RFC is proud to have completed another project with Jim’s Auto Body for their shop located in Antioch, CA. This shop now houses a state of the art Nova Verta Super Prestige Spray Booth, which is the first of its kind in the United States. Construction 1, RFC previously installed two Nova Verta Prestige Spray Booths for the Jim’s Auto Body shop in Concord, CA in 2014.
For their shop located in Antioch, CA, Jim’s Auto Body opted for the Nova Verta Super Prestige model with an indirect fired burner, post filtration system, and side down draft airflow system. These features allow for this spray booth to safely operate all five operate cycles, resulting in increased energy efficiency, while also preventing harmful exhaust chemicals from being released into the atmosphere.
This spray booth also features Nova Verta’s exclusive new lighting system, which includes 14 upper and 13 lower color corrective LED light fixtures. These LED light fixtures are Class 1, Division 2 explosion proof lights for hazardous locations that are designed to operate for 100,000 hours.
The feature that makes this spray booth truly unique, though, is that this is the first automotive spray booth in the US to operate with a side down draft air flow system and to be outfitted with Nova Verta’s exclusive LED lighting system. Prior to this installation, the side down draft airflow system has only been utilized in the much larger semi truck spray booths.
