Among the many reasons to choose a Nova Verta Spray Booth for your body shop, the single feature with perhaps the most benefits is the indirect fired burner, compatible with all Nova Verta models. The indirect fired burner allows for the spray booth to operate in Prep Mode, which provides a body shop benefits in two major areas: operator safety and energy efficiency. Plus, the indirect fired burner allows the spray booth to operate from the state-of-art Allen-Bradely control system.
Nova Verta’s indirect fired burner allows the spray booth to legally operate in Prep Mode, optimizing spray booth cabin conditions while final masking and tack off is performed. The standard direct fired burners, utilized by most other spray booth manufacturers, are not authorized to operate in Prep Mode due to the dangers associated with operator exposure to carbon monoxide. Nova Verta’s Prep Mode is the only system that provides OSHA compliant working conditions as the indirect fired burner eliminates risk of carbon monoxide poisoning by exhausting all gases through our unique polished steel flue stack.
The Nova Verta Spray Booth outfitted with an indirect fired burner will also recirculate 90% of the warmed airflow throughout the spray booth cabin during the Nova Verta exclusive Prep Mode. This energy efficient recirculation translates to an approximate utility cost savings of 35% when compared to booths operating with a standard direct fired burner.
Further, Nova Verta offers the Optional Auto Prep Mode System, which automatically shifts the booth into Prep Mode on a time and returns the booth to Spray Mode upon spray gun activation.
